Application Procedure

Stage One

• International applicants submitting applications by 31 January 2024 will be contacted via email, post offer with a link to the scholarship application form.
• Applicants applying after the UCAS Equal Consideration deadline should contact bayesug@city.ac.uk if interested, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
• The deadline for submitting the scholarship application is Friday, 30 August 2024. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

Stage Two

• After the scholarship deadline, the panel will assess each application based on final academic results.
• Preference will be given to those who selected City as their ‘firm’ choice university during enrollment in September 2024.
• Selection is competitive and only those exceeding advertised entry requirements will be considered.

Stage Three

• Only applicants successfully completing the first two stages will proceed to this stage.
• Full registration is a prerequisite with the registration deadline set for 21 days after the first day of term (Welcome Week), expected to be 14 October 2024.

Scholarship Decision

• Applicants will receive a decision on the scholarship by Friday, 29 November 2024.
• Successful recipients will receive a scholarship amount of £6,125 (25% of the £24,500 tuition fee for first year students starting in 2024). This amount will be deducted from the January 2025 tuition fee installment.

Scholarship Value

• The value of the Scholarship in 2024/5 is £6,125 for each student awarded this scholarship for Year 1 only.
